Mr. Beall teaches World History, Pre AP World History, AP World History, Pre AP American History, AP American History, Geographical Studies of Current Events, Modern American History, and American History 2753 at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith.
The rest of the day he looks at Bugs Bunny cartoons.
He has been working at West Fork since the beginning of time.
In between hunting and fishing trips, he tries to teach a little school. Ask him about that Wyoming trip he took recently. I bet he's got a picture somewhere close by.
He graduated from Trezevant High School in Memphis, Tennessee back during the Dark Ages and then served in the Marines in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba during the Darker Ages keeping the world safe for democracy.
He received his BA in Biology at Harding College in Searcy, Arkansas. He then went on to receive his Masters in History at the University of Arkansas with a thesis on the Civil War in Northwest Arkansas entitled "Wildwood Skirmishers - The First Federal Arkansas Cavalry"
When asked why he teaches his response was, "It beats working for a living. I used to do that."
He said he likes Bugs Bunny because "The rabbit can do it all." Which ain't no lie 'cause the rabbit CAN do it all!
