Teresa Griffith

Ms. Teresa Griffith began her career in art education in 1974 after graduation from the University of Arkansas. Ms. Griffith was employed for five years as the assistant to the Curator of Education at the Wichita Art Museum during which time, she taught in the public school system, worked with the Docents (tour guides), helped with exhibitions and Museum activities. After earning a Masters Degree in Art Education from Wichita State University, Ms. Griffith accepted a position with the Wichita Public School system. In 1990, Ms. Shreve moved back to Northwest Arkansas to accept a teaching position at West Fork Public Schools. Over a career spanning almost 30 years in museum and public education, Ms. Griffith enjoys the challenges that teaching Kindergarten through High School brings.
During her non working time, Ms. Griffith has enjoyed traveling to Germany, Switzerland, and to most of the United States. Her most recent trip included Denver, Philadelphia and New York City.
Ms. Griffith has two adult children, both graduates of West Fork High School. Robyn is currently living and working in Philadelphia, and Austin is pursuing his EMT degree at Southern State Community College in Auburn, Alabama.
