Barb Harris teaches resource math at West Fork High School. She works with all students that receive special services and monitors their progress in all classes. Other teachers helping Mrs. Harris in this work at WFHS are Bobbye Beecher and Shonda Pliler, They devote their time to assisting students to insure their success.

Mrs. Harris addresses pre-algebra concepts and practical math applications in her classes. She encourages her students to take Algebra A if they are comfortable with it.

A graduate of Northeastern State in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Mrs. Harris is certified in Special Education K-12.

Mrs. Harris sponsors the Career Exploration Program. This program provides an opportunity for each student to job shadow at various places of employment. This helps them to get a better idea what vocational training or college coursework they are interested in pursuing after high school.

Mrs. Harris has parent resources to help parents help their students plan their future, including information about benefits specific to special education students. She encourages parents with concerns to contact her at school anytime. She is available for the students and whatever she can do to help them with their overall success.

She has a 25 year old son that graduated from Farmington. He is a blessing and best thing in my life.
