Mr. David Ferrell

Drivers Education, Athletics

David Ferrell teaches Drivers Education, coaches the boys basketball teams and serves as athletic director.

He graduated from West Fork High School in 1982 where he was an All State baseball and basketball player. He then received his Bachelor of Science in Education in Physical Education from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he played on the baseball team. In 1999 he received his Masters of Arts in Education.

He has been at West Fork for 15 years. Coach Ferrell has also coached basketball at Gravette and Lincoln, and served as Sports Director at Arkansas Athletics Outreach. During his coaching career he has been recognized as Coach of the Year (1986, 1993, 1994, 2001, 2002) and was selected as head coach of the All Star game in 1994.

David is married to the former Kelly Baker and they have three children, Jordyn-16, Jassa-13, and Joshua-12. In his spare time he enjoys golf, fishing and jogging.
