School Board Minutes
November 12, 2007  
There was a regular meeting of the West Fork School Board on Monday, November 12, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. in the board room. Those present were Karen Daugherity, Deborah Harnish, Tim Helder, Daryl Quinton, and Jerry Boyd. The meeting was called to order by President Tim Helder. 

1. Motion by Jerry Boyd second Daryl Quinton to approve the minutes of the October meeting. Motion carried. (5-0)

2. Motion by Daryl Quinton second Deborah Harnish to approve the financial statement. Motion carried. (5-0)

3. Teresa Walker gave a report on the Gifted and Talented Program.

4. The principals’ gave their reports.

5. Mrs. Barrett gave the superintendent’s report.

6. Motion by Deborah Harnish second Jerry Boyd to approve Special Education Assurances and Agreements. Motion carried. (5-0) See attached.

7. Motion by Jerry Boyd second Karen Daugherity to approve maternity leave for Dawn Stout from October 17, 2007, to January 7, 2008. Motion carried. (5-0)

8. Motion by Daryl Quinton second Karen Daugherity to approve the transfer of Kyle Norris to Greenland. Motion carried. (5-0)

9. Motion by Karen Daugherity second Deborah Harnish to approve the resignation of Marla Meadors as bus driver and food service worker effective October 16, 2007. Motion carried. (5-0)

10. Motion by Jerry Boyd second Daryl Quinton to approve hiring Debbie (Buffy) Kable as food service worker. Motion carried. (5-0)

11. Motion by Karen Daugherity second Deborah Harnish to approve hiring Josh Leonard as food service worker. Motion carried. (5-0)

12. Motion by Daryl Quinton second Jerry Harnish to hire Frances Harderson as bus driver. Motion carried. (5-0)

13. Motion by Deborah Harnish second Daryl Quinton to designate Karen Daugherity as the delegate to the ASBA Conference. Motion carried. (5-0)

14. Motion by Karen Daugherity second Deborah Harnish to adjourn. Motion carried. (5-0)
