West Fork Public Schools

We have successfully made the transition from first grade catch up and review to “real” second grade material. Second Grade students are adjusting very nicely to the many facets of our curriculum. Reading, Spelling, English, Saxon Math, Step Up To Writing, Computer Lab, Daily Journals, Science and Social Studies are subjects taught this year. The children have as their favorites Recess, Lunch, Art, Library, Music, and Tag.

As the year progresses, we will be adding more and more new concepts to the students little minds.  Parents will be surprised at what their child is learning in Reading and Math.  From expanded notation to fractions and pronouns to prepositional phrases, our second graders have a lot to absorb this year.  We are excited at the opportunity to be apart of each of their lives.  Thank you for entrusting your child to our care each day.
